Where are you from? Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
What do you do? I work as a Behavior Technician with children with Autism at the Family Support Center.
How’d you hear/find out about CrossFit and how long have you been doing it? What motivated you to give it a try in the first place?: My husband Mike started going and would come home saying things like AMRAP and EMOM and clean and jerk and none of it made sense to me, so he talked me into trying a class and I’ve loved it ever since.
How has CrossFit impacted your life? In high school I only participated in track and field and took dance classes but never saw myself as an athletic or strong person. Crossfit has a way of making me feel strong and humbled at the same time and that makes me want to keep trying and continue improving.
What do you enjoy about being a member at CrossFit NCS? The members and the coaches are all great people with a common interest of wanting to be better but also wanting others to do well.
What’s your favorite workout? Any workout that includes handstand push-ups.
What would your birthday workout be? I like surprises.
Do you have a quote/motto you live by? There’s always room for dessert.
What’s something fun/awesome/interesting you’d like people to know about you? I’m a pretty good artist. I love to paint/draw or anything that’s creative.
