CrossFit is... rowing, running, swimming, biking, squatting, jumping, pushing, pulling, climbing, lifting – and everything in between. We focus on functional, multi-joint movements that help us move and live better lives. We use dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells, bumper plates, medicine balls, boxes, pull-up rigs, climbing ropes, jump ropes, and our own bodyweight, as we work to build our strength and improve our cardiovascular health, among other important aspects of our fitness. Put simply, CrossFit involves performing constantly varied, functional movements at high intensity. We can scale any movement or load we program so that we’re able to accommodate athletes of all experience and skill levels, injuries and mobility issues. We believe that CrossFit is truly for everyone, and it is our goal to make the program at CrossFit NCS accessible to every athlete who wants to participate with us.

We offer CrossFit classes 6 days a week. Check the Schedule page for more information.

Barbell, Edge and Strength Training

Our Barbell & Edge Strength Training (BEST) classes offer athletes an opportunity to refine and build their Olympic lifting skills and strength and to develop their gymnastics skills. BEST classes offer more volume and most classes will include a "heavy squat" and technique work. These classes are 60 minutes long and are offered on Sunday at 8:30 AM, Tuesday at 6:30 PM, Thursday at 6:30 PM and Saturday at 9:00 AM. We highly encourage our athletes to supplement their training with BEST.

High Energy Athlete Training

High Energy Athlete Training (HEAT) is a low weight resistance, high volume metabolic conditioning class. These classes usually consist of a longer working period in the range of 25-35 minutes. Be ready to sweat and move! HEAT is currently offered on Sunday morning at 9:30 AM. Come ready to sweat and move! We'll take care of the rest.

Yoga for Recovery

We put our bodies through intense workouts during the week. So it’s imperative that we give ourselves a focused opportunity to work on mobility, breathing, and recovery. That’s the purpose of our Yoga for Recovery class. We’ll get into poses that aid our recovery from the week, and enhance our mobility for the future. We highly recommend this class for anyone who participates in our CrossFit or CardioStrong classes!

We offer Yoga for Recovery periodically. Check the Schedule page for more information.

All Yoga for Recovery classes are taught by our certified Yoga instructor.

All 1-on-1 personal training sessions are taught by our coaches who are CrossFit Level 1 Trainers.
